We’re in Love with Lovie Dovie

It’s Valentine’s Day and what better way to celebrate than to start garden planning for the Spring.. Well, maybe that’s not top on your list but we do have the most PERFECT annual to tell you about today on this day of looooove. New to the PW family this year is Supertunia Lovie Dovie!

Supertunia Lovie Dovie is a mounding and slightly trailing plant which makes them excellent plants to put in containers as a filler or spiller, as well as in garden beds towards the front. They trail up to 30 inches, and they can grow 6-12 inches high.

Another reason to love Lovie Dovie is they attract butterflies and hummingbirds. What better way to make your garden more beautiful than to plant flowers to attract some of nature’s most beautiful creatures?

Last, but not least, they are self-cleaning!! If you don’t know what that means and you’re planting petunias in your garden, you’re missing out. Self-cleaning means there is no dead heading required. None! Just let them grow and clean themselves (like cats!).
